The date isn’t a typo. Of all the photos I took of the Mowgli friezes, the best views of this one came from an earlier visit.

Preceding PP-1G, in "Tiger! Tiger!" Mowgli, who is now living in the human village and working as a buffalo-herder, siezes the opportunity to stampede the buffalo against Shere Khan with the help of his wolf friends Akela and Grey Brother. With their assistance he traps the tiger in a ravine, and the buffalo charge in from either end…

Strictly speaking Mowgli should not be nude in this scene, since he’s now living with humans. But since he’s not used to clothing, I guess he could be forgiven for forgetting to dress once in a while.
